We all believe that raising children with good character is important. Family is the primary character-building force in a child's life but some families might find this task a tremendous responsibility. They may not know how to foster good character beyond correcting their children when they do something wrong. They may think they only need to teach Jewish values and children will absorb and then apply those values to their own lives. Parents may not even know when to begin talking about values. How young is too young?

Raising children with good values becomes easier and more manageable when children receive a common message supported by school and family. To help teachers and families in their united goal, there is now a school-based Middah of the Month Program for young children.
Joining together, parents and teachers will enjoy the sweet rewards of a journey they take together raising children with good character supported by Jewish values.
